Burtynsky is a Canadian photographer who takes pictures of landscapes, but not trees and lakes. He takes pictures of industrial sites and factories. The subjects are often beautiful and appalling at the same time.
Photographs by contemporary photographers race by at the end, but most of this shows, with time to look at them, some of the best photos by people who might now be considered "Old Masters" of photography.
